Capturing Unique Moments in Time |
When we relegate ourselves to the position of reflection within the mind, when we look at ourselves in the light of thought, we have the ability to discover that our life has been greatly filled with beauty. Other times we may find another message within our own snapshots.

When we review our photographs, we often find coincidental themes that tell a different story to what the picture was intended to illustrate and memorialized.

Photographer Captures Drag Queens Half Men Half Women |
In his Half-Drag series, New York photographer Leland Bobbé captures the two sides of the city's drag queens -- the extravagantly made-up drag divas and the organic men that lie beneath. "Through the power of hair and makeup these men are able to completely transform themselves and find their female side while simultaneously showing their male side."

Bobbé posted the first portrait of the Half-Drag series on his blog last March, writing, "I got great feedback on the image so I decided to reach out to other drag queens using Facebook as my main means of communication... I've now shot four people with many more on the way. We'll see where this takes me..." Five months later, the project has taken the award-winning photographer far: It has been featured in Italian Vogue, fashion site Refinery 29, as well as in other websites and blogs from around the world. Bobbé reflects, "This is what the term 'gone viral' is all about."

US Men Gymnastics Olympic Team |

Bronze medalists four years ago, the US team could practically feel their first gold since 1984 after finishing No. 1 in qualifying, with captain Jon Horton jokingly asking if they could claim their prizes. But everyone gets a do-over in team finals, and whatever momentum the Americans had evaporated when Danell Leyva and John Orozco fell on pommel horse, their second event. The Chinese won their second straight Olympic title in men's gymnastics and third in four games in a rout Monday, making fools of everyone who wrote them off after a dismal performance in qualifying. It took five minutes and a video review to sort out the silver and bronze medalists after Japan questioned the score of three-time world champion Kohei Uchimura on pommel horse, the last routine. Japan jumped from fourth to second after judges revised Uchimura's score, bumping Britain down to bronze and Ukraine off the medals podium.

Many people think cats and dogs can not live peacefully together. In fact, someone once coined the phrase "fighting like cats and dogs" and there is obviously some truth to the statement. However, the majority of cats can happily coexist with a dog if they are given time to comfortably get to know each other.

Cats and Dogs Coexisting?
Under the right conditions, many cats and dogs can live together in perfect harmony.
